Is it possible to rewire UK plugs to Australian?
I'm planning on moving to Australia in a few months. I'm going to take quite a number of my belonging and devices with me. I don't want to have to buy a dozen or so UK to Oz plug adapters, so I was wondering if I could buy some Australian plugs when I get there and re-wire the plugs? I know the use 220v, so i'm guessing it's possible? Thanks.
Both the UK and Australia use 240 VAC, 50 Hz so it should just be a matter of changing the plugs on the power cord. Any electrical shop should be able to do this for you.

I have a friend who does this. He's bald on top, always wears a ball cap and always keeps it neatly tied back. He looks great, and even though he's more than a dozen years older than I am, he probably looks better than I do...LOL. He owns and runs his own flea market, which I frequent quite often. He's a very nice man and I am proud to call him my friend...
