Great Lot Did people had a lot of money during the Great Depression?
I'm doing a essay about the Great Depression. The question I was assign was that if people still had a lot of money during the Great Depression. I tried to research about this question, but it didn't had a lot of informations. I wonder if you guys know about this because this essay is a lot of points. Please tell me if you know. Sorry, I made a mistake, I meant to say if there was people who had a lot money.
They had the same amount of money they had before, but the value of it drastically decreased. You know how way-back-when people could buy soda for a quarter? The stock market crash caused the dollar to lose value, so the money people had became less valuable. Now, when the depression finally ended, there was also a sort of recession because people had been hoarding money. So although the value of the dollar dropped, the New Deal gave people jobs that helped them adjust and receive more money.

What is a great classical guitar piece that has a lot of culture embedded into it?
It's for school. I need to find a great classical guitar piece I can play for an assembly, and it needs to be very ~cultural~. Anything that isn't American.
For example, something very... Italian or whatever.
Rodrigo's Concerto Aranjuez (spelling might be wrong), definitely Spanish in flavour.
Also, Piazzola (Spanish) compositions, Histoire du Tango, for instance, that have a definite nationalistic bent.
