Honigs Umpire
Umpire Jacket question?
I am a high school umpire and need a jacket. I am wondering which jacket is better. I am unsure about the material on the jacket from ump-attire.com, i do not want a fleece type material on the outside but rather a swishy material.
let me know what you thing...personal experience would be good also, thanks!

thanks guys i really appreciate it a lot, i just ordered the Honigs jacket!
I'd go with the Honig's one. I have the navy blue, plate-cut style, which doesn't have an elastic band at the bottom and is designed to be tucked into the pants. You can wear it on the bases, too. It's stylish and it repels water pretty well. It's not quilted inside, so if you do games in particularly cold weather, as I do, you'll need to dress in layers. But that's a small disadvantage compared to those fickle summer days in which it may be warm yet windy with some chance of rain. On those days, a quilted jacket would roast you.
