Which would look better on my college application?
I'm trying to decide on if wrether I should either play SoftBall this summer or go to Academy of Law and Leadership..
I REALLY want to do both, but they run into eachother and it would be impossible..
SoftBall actually lasts longer than Academy of Law and Leadership. But If I played SoftBall I would miss nearly all of it because of practices and games and stuff. Plus Academy of Law and Leadership is in Colorado.. And I live in Iowa.
So, I guess I should just do which ever one will look better on my college applications.. Which do you think will look best?
I'm unsure because SoftBall is an athletic and I know those look really good on resume's..
But, you have to get accepted into Academy of Law and Leadership.. and I was accepted.
Which should I do?

Do the one that you will enjoy most.
Personally I think softball would be better...especially if you've been playing for a few years (colleges love it when you stick with things). They love seeing that you are passionate and follow things through to the end.
I don't know much about the Academy of Law and Leadership but often those things are more of just a rip off. They're expensive and really don't do much for you. From what I can tell colleges don't really care much for that stuff. But again I don't know much about this specific one--it may be great. I didn't do any of those but graduated from highschool with 8 varsity letters (it's great if you can be a captain) and I ended up at an Ivy League institution.
All in all I don't think that will make much of a difference on your college application. Just do the one that you think you'll enjoy most. I'm sure you already do enough that you have to for college!

Academy of L&L. This is a no brainer. You will learn so much. It is a fantastic opportunity. Forget softball.
