Size Usa Ladies
Couple of questions for ladies in the third trimester!?
Hi,
It's been five year since I was last pregnant and for reason I forgot about all the pain!
I am only a week (max) from giving birth, (I am being induced) but I was wondering, did/have any of you ladies had to stop driving prior to giving birth?
I am not big in the slightest, in fact I am still in my standard size 4 (USA) jeans and they do up comfortably, but the last couple of days I have had such bad pains under my ribs it is agony! Is anyone else getting this? The pain is that intense that I can sit up anymore, so driving is out of the question!
Just wondering if I was alone in this, or is anyone else just really uncomfortable!
Oh and to top is off last night I noticed my feet were swollen! I can remember swollen feet with the others..
Actually it's gotten that I've been pretty unconfortable while just plain sitting. My pain is usually my daughter kicking my ribs, and boy does she have a good kick. I'm not big either but car rides are somewhat painful to begin with. Not just the bumping but the pressure it causes your back and your feet swell so you just want to put them up on the dash board. Dont worry too much, but I would watch for other signs that something might be off. You never know and better to be safe then with a problem.

What pointe shoes would be good for me?
Last year when I started taking pointe, the kind of shoes the lady put me with were Bloch Signature Rehearsals. I suppose I like the way they fit but the shank was very very hard and they still really haven't broken in yet..... They were made for professional dancers and I don't really like them 
I watched the video on Bloch's TMT breaking in technology, and I thought that looked great for me........ In a different shoe.
I have very strong legs and fairly strong feet, with medium width and medium-high arches. I wear a size 8 street (women USA).
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!
maybe try going back to the lady and see what she would suggest. personally i used Bloch Sonatas they were a really good shoe, very strong. you could try breaking them in more. bend your arches backwards and forwards but be careful that you don't make them too bendy, if your shoes are double backed you could try taking out the nail that's at the heel of your shoe. (it'll be under the suede bit on the bottom of your shoe) bash the toes on the floor it might soften them a little. you might find also that because you have only just started that you don't use them a lot and as a result they will take longer to break in. try talking to your teacher too. see what she says. hope this helps
