What are my chances of getting into BU, Tufts, W&M, NYU, Brandeis, JMU, Columbia and Harvard?
hey everyone! i've just finished applying to all of these schools -- i know they are very difficult to get into and i will very lucky to get into any of them, i was wondering if you guys thought that i had a shot (especially with Harvard and Columbia)
GPA Weighted - 4.15
SAT - 2090
i have done a lot of community service, softball, theater work (stage manager and prop master), girl scouts. i'm also doing the IB Diploma if that helps.... i'm half japanese and half american, and have lived in seven different countries. i can speak japanese, english and spanish fluently and a little mandarin and korean.
I think you have a shot at BU and W&M. Tufts, NYU, JMU are in between a reach and match school. I don't know about Brandeis, sorry. Columbia and Harvard are super reaches, and are reaches for most people. There people who have perfect grades and SAT scores, and still don't in to the Ivy's. Also, it will depend on your unweighted GPA too. You also need some safety's because none of those are a safety school for you. Good Luck!
