Softball, SWITCH HITTER?
okay, i started out throwing left batting right, well i figured it out as i got older that i was throwing and batting differnt than anyone els ! Well i was told by my coach that because im left handed i will never play infield. So im bound and determined to proove him wrong. Im learning how to throw right handed now (: any tips or drills that will help?
also ive played softball for 10 years so this is a big change for me
I think you're talking about switch thrower then, not switch hitter.
It's very difficult to become a switch thrower. Throwing takes a lot of muscle memory. Think back on how long it took you to throw lefthanded. Probably quite a few years before your technique and motion looked normal. It will probably take the same amount of time to learn to throw right handed.
Personally, I would stick to your natural hand and try to make yourself a better outfielder or first baseman.
