her puppy is dying??
a girl on my softball team's puppy ate a wiffleball. (its like a plastic hollow softball) and he's only two! he had surgery, and at our big huge away game she was informed he wasn't doing well. What can I do to confort her?
First of all, what good does sharing that type of news do? The poor girl is away from her family and away from her pet. Wouldn't it have been kinder for the folks back home to say that it was a difficult procedure and everyone is hoping for the best...
But since someone saw fit to tell her this, you could tell her that you're really sorry, and encourage her not to give up hope. Young animals and young people can sometimes make miraculous recoveries!
