Working in a new DeMarini fast pitch softball bat?
I just ordered a new CF4 deMarini hope fast pitch softball bat and it came in today. I plan on using it in practice before sectionals this weekend. I used to have a DeMarini Onyx bat, also half and half and i think i worked it in wrong because it just died. I never used it in batting machines or with any balls besides regular game balls.
Is there any tips on working in a new bat for the first time? or anything i can avoid to help protect it?

The CF4 I believe has been advertised that it's hot right out of the wrapper. I LOVE DeMarini, so I believe them (I have a 2008 Phenix myself and it's a-MA-zing!!!)
Just hit some real softballs with it. Do soft toss and then get up to center toss and then hit against real pitchers.
The only thing it needs is some time!
