Is ALL scripture from god?
Paul said: "Now concerning virgins I have no command from the Lord, but I give my opinion . . ." (Paul's First Letter to the Corinthians 7:25).

This scripture clearly states that it does not come from god but is pauls opinion. Therefore this proves that not ALL the bible was actually from god.
As you can see from the answers above, Christians will always find a way to explain these things. And somehow, it always makes sense to them.

Jehovah's Witnesses, why does the NWT use the words "Christ in union with YOU" in Colossians 1:27?
and in verse 28 you use "union with Christ"? But the "Textus Receptus "uses "Christ in you and in Christ Jesus" respectfully.
NWT- 27 to whom God has been pleased to make known what are the glorious riches of this sacred secret among the nations. It is Christ in union with YOU, the hope of [his] glory. 28 He is the one we are publicizing, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man complete in union with Christ.
KJV- 27 To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: 28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
I've just checked the 1969 Kingdom Interlinear (KIT) which gives the word for word Greek and English, based on the Westcott & Hort (W&H) Greek Text as used in the New World Translation (NWT) and the Greek translates literally as:
Colossians 1:27 - which is Christ in you, the hope...
Colossians 1:28 - perfect in Christ...
Also, the Interlinear of the Nestle Greek Text has the Greek "en" translated as "in".
The Greek in the 1969 KIT (based on the W&H text) correctly sticks to simply "in" but the English column (by the WTS) has ADDED "in UNION". The Textus Receptus absolutely DOES say "in" and the Nestle text for the Authorised Version is exactly the same as the Greek of the W&H text.
There are other examples where the NWT picks and chooses how it will interpret the Greek "en". Sometimes they say "in" and sometimes they say "in union" but it's far from consistent, unless the subject matter is Jesus and Jehovah. Take at look at these scriptures:
John 17:21 - "that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you" (NIV)
John 17:26 - "the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them" (NIV)
1 John 4:12-13 - "God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit." (NIV)
God lives in the believer. Christ lives in the believer. The Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ and the Holy Spirit lives in the believer. They don't live "in union with" the believer - they indwell the believer! But that goes against Jehovah's Witnesses beliefs. But they do not consistently translate every occurrence of the Greek "en" as "in union with" - they pick and choose in order to back up their doctrines that deny the divinity of Christ and the personage of the Holy Spirit.
The reason they add to the word of God in this manner is because they simply will not have it that Christ indwells the believer. Jesus must be downplayed, and all attention focused on Jehovah. It would never do to think that the indwelling of the Holy Spirit could possibly be the same as the indwelling of the Spirit of Christ or the indwelling of the Spirit of God. And they wouldn't want anybody who is not of the 144,000 heavenly class to think Christ could indwell them. By using the expression "in union with Christ" they manage to dilute the power and person of Christ and prevent the "great crowd" or the "other sheep" from thinking they could ever enter into such a close and personal relationship with Christ. At all costs, they must shore up their belief in the false teaching that only 144,000 persons since the time of Jesus can enter into the new covenant and have Christ Jesus as their mediator. They are in the business of keeping people OUT of the Kingdom of Heaven and this is just one of their more subtle methods of twisting scripture to fit in with their theology.
