Two Tips for Mastering Pitch Shot
When we face with the gloom of a 20 yard distance to the hole, we panic. We know that overshooting and ending up with the golf ball in a bunker at the other side of the green. Well, we should seek for the way to out!
Two tips are available to you to master the pitch shot:
First, you must make sure to hit the ball with the correct centre of the clubface for a consistent loft each time.
Fear is the biggest rival when swinging the 20-40 yard pitch. Remember that you should keep your mind screaming for mercy and hoping for the best. This will help you poke at the ball and avoid doing a dean swing through. You must believe that you have the ability to perform this shot properly. You know, practice makes perfection. More golf practice can eliminate your fear.
The way to that:
Brush the grass. If the ball is resting on the ground and needs to meet the centre of the clubface, then you must get the bottom edge of the clubface under the ball. This is so called "brushing of the grass". Keep relaxed and you will find how easy it is and not grip the devil out of golf set. More practices are good job.
After the first step, the second challenge is to generate the different distances required to get the ball close to the hole. Don’t cut your finish short. After your shot pause the follow through position to see where you are. Ensure a complete follow through each time. Remember, your first goal is to get the ball lofted the same each time. After that, you can start to work on your distance.
