Where is on the train/tube line to London, close by, and quietish?
Basically, I want somewhere that has mystery and solitude, somewhere with woods, fields or just good country, perhpas on the outer bit of the town, and somewhere with peace and a smallish feel but that still is not totally tiny. Few things going on, and on a main train/tube line to London that gets there quickish.
